Earthwise Cleaning Company is seeking a motivated, dependable, and highly organized individual to join our team as an Operations Management Trainee.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to develop a career in business management while gaining hands-on experience in a growing service company.
Unlike traditional office positions, this role begins with a combination of fieldwork and office management training. We believe the best leaders understand the work their teams perform, the clients they serve, and the challenges of daily operations.
Our goal is to develop the right individual into a full-time office management position as they demonstrate the skills, leadership, and accountability necessary to succeed.

How This Position Works
Our management trainee program is designed to develop future leaders through hands-on experience, structured training, and progressively increasing responsibility.
Phase 1: Learning the Business
3 days per week performing residential and vacation rental cleaning.
2 days per week receiving office and operations management training.
Learn our cleaning standards, quality expectations, client experience, scheduling systems, and daily operations.
Develop relationships with our field team and gain firsthand knowledge of their responsibilities.
Phase 2: Developing Management Skills
3 days per week in the office.
2 days per week in the field.
Begin taking greater responsibility for scheduling, employee communication, customer service, and daily operational decisions.
Develop problem-solving and leadership skills under the guidance of management.
Phase 3: Advancing Into Leadership
4 days per week in the office.
1 day per week in the field.
Assume increasing responsibility for operational oversight, team coordination, quality assurance, and management coverage.
Phase 4: Potential Full-Time Office Management
Successful candidates may advance into a full-time office management position as business needs and demonstrated performance allow.
Progression is based on individual performance, demonstrated leadership abilities, operational needs, and successful completion of training. Advancement is not guaranteed or tied to a predetermined timeline.
What You'll Learn and Do
Office Operations & Management
Assist with daily scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating cleaning teams.
Communicate professionally with clients regarding appointments, service questions, and concerns.
Help manage schedule changes, employee call-outs, and unexpected operational challenges.
Assist with customer inquiries, estimates, and sales follow-up.
Maintain accurate records in our customer relationship management software.
Learn to resolve customer complaints and coordinate appropriate solutions.
Support employee onboarding, training, and quality assurance.
Help ensure daily operational tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Learn to make sound operational decisions and recognize when situations require escalation.
Field Operations
Perform residential and vacation rental cleaning according to company standards.
Develop a thorough understanding of our services, procedures, and quality expectations.
Work alongside cleaning technicians and understand the challenges they encounter.
Assist with quality inspections and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Provide field support when operational needs require it.
Leadership Development
Learn how to lead, coach, and support employees.
Develop skills in prioritization, delegation, and accountability.
Learn how to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Participate in identifying and implementing operational improvements.
Gradually assume greater responsibility for independently managing daily operations.

Previous cleaning industry experience is helpful but not required. Leadership potential, dependability, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn are essential.
Position Requirements
Previous experience in a supervisory, administrative, customer service, or similar professional role preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
Ability to travel between assigned cleaning locations when scheduled in the field.
Availability to work the schedule required for this position, which will include applicable weekend coverage.
Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the cleaning portion of the position, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Consistent attendance, punctuality, and dependability.

Compensation & Career Growth
We believe in rewarding hard work, productivity, and professional development. This position offers a hybrid compensation structure designed to reward efficiency in the field while providing competitive hourly pay for office responsibilities.
Starting Compensation:
Office & Administrative Duties: $17–$19 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Field Cleaning Duties: performance-based commission.
Mileage Reimbursement: Provided for eligible travel while performing field cleaning duties.
Paid Training: Hands-on training in both cleaning operations and office management.
